Lovage Tuna Salad

As with most of our original, farm fresh recipes, we like to add lots of veggies! This tuna salad is packed full of flavor and good stuff from carrots, greens, and our new herb bestie … lovage!

We’re growing a ton of lovage and you can read all about it over on its product listing. It’s definitely worth trying out! We’re excited to add more lovage recipes to our arsenal this season, so stay tuned!

We like serving this tuna salad lunchable-style with crackers and cheese squares or as little open-faced tuna melt sandwiches. It’s also delicious served in lettuce cups for a light meal or just overtop a chopped greens salad.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 0 minutes | Total Time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 5oz cans of tuna

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped or shredded carrot

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped greens of choice

  • two stalks (stems and leaves) lovage, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Caprese Garlic Salt, to taste

  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Drain tuna and add to a medium bowl. Flake apart with a fork if necessary.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and thoroughly combine.

NOTES:

Stores in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
